The fourth ride of Lord Mahakal started on Monday in the month of Shravan from the world famous Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple. Avantikanath came out in the form of Chandramauleshwar in a silver palanquin, Manmahesh on an elephant, Shivtandav on Garuda chariot and Uma Mahesh on Nandi to give darshan to the devotees. The devotees were elated after seeing the four forms of Lord Mahakal.The joy of devotion prevailed for three hours on the route of about five kilometers long. At 3.30 pm, in the assembly hall of the temple, the priest Kumar Shikhar and the priest worshiped Lord Mahakal's Chandramauleshwar form and sent the palanquin for the city tour.
