Temple
The temple is situated in Puthoor village in Malappuram district in Kerala. The sanctum sanctorum, where the presiding deity Lord Shiva resides, is in the form of Shivalinga (a phallic representation of Lord Shiva) and is fully filled with water. The temple is currently under the aegis of Malabar Devaswom Board.

The temple is situated in Puthoor village in Malappuram district in Kerala. Very ancient temple .During monsoon the Shiva Linga was almost submerged in water. The amazing fact about the temple open well near the shrine (Sreekovil) is that water level of the well is about an inch above the surrounded water level there by ensuring the purity of well water.
