Manivedika Shaktipeeth is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. According to Hindu religious Puranas, this Shaktipeeth is called a very sacred pilgrimage place. There is a description of 51 Shaktipeeths in Devipuran. Pushkar, 11 kilometers away from Ajmer in Rajasthan, is an important pilgrimage site. On one side of Pushkar Sarovar, Savitri Temple is situated on the top of the mountain, which has a glowing, stunning statue of the Mother Goddess and on the other side, Gayatri Temple is situated and this is Shaktipeeth. Where the wrists of Mata Sati had fallen. Here Sati is 'Gayatri' and Bhairav is 'Sharvanand'. It is believed that in the month of Kartik, even the gods come here to visit and worship this Shaktipeeth. Navratri and other festivals are celebrated with great pomp in this Shaktipeeth.
